Numbers 25: Medical missionary  heals the church by lancing its  ‘kuba kaba’ – secret conformity of a worship leader with inclusive deceptive syncretic religion.

 1: And Israel resides in Shittim (pl of Shittah – Acacia tree valley of Moab east of Jordan just north of the Dead Sea and west of Jerusalem).  And the people cause to pierce to prostitution to Moabite daughters (Lot’s older daughter’s people – Moab – were in south Jordan whilst ben Ammi Ammonites  by his younger daughter were in north Jordan).

2: And they (daughters fp) call out people to sacrifices to their gods and the people eat and make themselves bow themselves to their gods.

3: And so is bound Israel to Lord (Baal)-Peor (Open ie a syncretic fertility rites idol worshipped by Moab, Beth Peor town is a vantage point looking down into the valley across the Jordan nearing it’s entry to the dead sea (where Jesus was baptised) and across to Jericho and Mount Peor nearby is from where Balam has just prophesied about Jesus in Num 24).

And Yehoweh’s temper burns against Israel.

 4: And Yehoweh says to Moses, “Take all the heads of the people and isolate them to Yehoweh in front of the sun. And may Yehoweh’s  burning temper turn away from Israel. 

5: And Moses says to the judges (Shafat- pronounce sentence), “A man slay his men who were bound to Baal Peor.

6: And In Moses’ eyes and in eyes of all congregation of sons of Israel, behold, a man of sons of Israel came to his brothers with the/time of the Midianitess. And there were weepers at the opening of the appointments’ tent.

7: And the priest Pinkhas (Peh mouth + nakhas serpent- Aaron’s rod turning to a serpent brings plagues to Egypt Ex 7:10-12 and a bronze serpent (nakosheth nakash) protected Israel Num 21:9 and is a symbol of medicine)  son of Elazar (God-help) son of Aaron (?meaning) sees and arises from the midst of the congregation and takes a spear (roma – ploughshares to spears at Judgement in Joel 3:10 – opposite of Isaiah 2:4) in his hand.

8: And he traverses behind a man of Israel to the pavilion (kuba) and pierces through the/time of two of them – the/time of a man of Israel and the /time of the woman to her belly (kaba).

And the plague is restrained in Israel’s sons.

9: And the dying in the plague happens to be four and twenty thousand. Phew!

10: And Yehoweh speaks to Moses to say,

11: Pinkhas son of Elazar son of Aaron the priest had caused my burning fury to turn back from Israel’s sons. For He is zealous to the/time of My zeal in their midst. So I did not finish off Israel’s sons in the/time of My Zeal.

12: So then, say, Behold, Given to him is the/time of My Peace/wholeness Covenant.

13: And it happened to be for him and his descendants after him, a priest covenant – under which he had been zealous in perpetuity for his God. And he covers/atones up for Israel’s sons. 

14: And name of a caused-to-be-stricken man of Israel who was stricken with the  Midianitess was Zimri (sing praise) son of Salu (weighed and tossed aside), prominent/raised up one in father’s house to Simeonites (God heard).

15: And the woman’s name, the Midianitess who was stricken,  was Cazbi (false), daughter of Tsur (rock), head of  people of his father, he was of Midyan (Abraham and Keturah’s Son’s people who settled south east of Jordan, became traders (took Joseph), followed a syncretic religion  (Abraham’s + Canaanite fertility religion – Jethro, Moses’ wife. Also Mede –  tribes of Japheth in north Persia, Zagros mountains, its capital Hamadan where Esther and Mordechai’s tombs are, also much later is a Mahdi 12^th imam supposed to be Shia messiah who died without issue and his birthday is still celebrated in spring in Qom, Iran and a Mahdi end-of-age messiah is expected by both Shias and Sunnis).

Phew!

16: And Yehoweh had spoken to Moses to say,

17:  The/time of Midyan is restricted/strait-jacketed.

You caused them to be struck.  

18: For they were restraining by their deceitfulness in which they deceived you over a word of Peor and over a word of Cozbi, daughter of a Midyan leader, their sister who  was struck in a day of the plague over a Peor- word. And it happens after the plague. Phew!

Prayer:

Lord, fill us Your Zeal so that the church worship leaders’ conformity the world’s deceiving philosophies of inclusive ‘Peor’ openness which has brought a plague on the people is pierced by Your Word-sword and the plague stopped before more church people die. Amen.
