Numbers 24: End time oracle of a Spirit-filled foreigner sees Jesus, The Word (Naeum), The King lifted up,  troubled by Herod who then was Jerusalem’s destruction.

1: And Bilam (bal no + am people) sees that it had been good in Yehoweh’s eyes to bless the/time ofIsrael, he did not walk as A footstep in a footstep, to meet divinations. And he puts his face towards the wilderness.

2:  And Bilam raises his eyes and sees the/time of encamping Israel in their tribes/sceptres (Shvat).

And A Spirit of Elohim (she) happens upon him.

3: And Bilam son of Beor (?Edomite king, burning) raises his oracle/  and says,

“Word (Naeum – usually used for  ‘The Word of God’) and

Word (Naeum) –The Warrior (who) unveiled the eyes,

4: Word (Naeum).

Hearing strong/god’s words, and who on envisioning  Devastator/Almighty’s vision, falls and eyes are unveiled (Num22:34).

5: How good were your tabernacles/tents (ohel), Jacob (heel-grabber/ opportunist ), your Tabernacles ( mishkan – mostly used for The Tabernacle), Israel (God-strife).

6: Stretched out like streams (nakhal),

Like gardens by rivers ( nahar)

Like aloes (Indian evergreen perfume tree, Sanskrit agar) planted/staked by Yehoweh,

Like cedars (erez – firm, used for temple construction) on waters,

7:  He trickles water from His pots/buckets (used for drawing water from a well),

And His descendants in many waters are exalted more than Agag (Amalekite king whom Saul later spared and was removed from kingship 1Sam 15).

You cause his King to be lifted up in His Kingdom.

8: A Cause-to-bring-out-of-Egypt god, He has strong-horns of a wild bull.

He consumes unbelieving nations and his restrictors and gnaws/crunches their bones.

He shatters with His arrows.

He kneels and beds down as a lion and a lioness. Who will make him to arise?

Blessed who blesses you.

Cursed who curses you”.

10:  And Balak’s temper burned against Bilam. And he clapped his palms. And Barak said to Bilam, “I cried out to you to curse my enemies. Behold you blessingly blessed (birak-tha barek) them! That’s 3 times.

11: And now, flee (b’ra) to your place. I had said I glorifyingly glorify you. Behold you held Yehoweh back from glory”.

12: And Bilam said to Balak, “Did not your Messengers whom you sent to me also speak to me to say

13: If Balak gives me a house  full of silver and gold, I am not able to Cross-over (avar) Yehoweh’s mouth to do good or trouble- evil in my heart. What Yehoweh says, that I speak.

14: And now, Behold, walk to my people (l’ammi).  I counsel you on what this people do to your people in the latter days:

15:  And Bilam son of Beor (?Edomite king, burning) raises his oracle/  and says,

“Word (Naeum – usually used to name  ‘The Word of God’) and

Word (Naeum) –The Warrior (who) unveiled the eyes,

16: Word (Naeum).

Hearing strong/god’s words, and who on envisioning  Devastator/Almighty’s vision, falls and eyes are unveiled (Num22:34).

17: I see Him – but not now

I spot (shur=watching like a hunter) Him – but not near.

A star from Jacob had treaded-a-way (derek).

And a tribe/sceptre from Israel had taken a stand.

And He had shattered Moab’s side (also in Amos 2:1-3).

And He had dug up all the sons (following Enosh Yehoweh was called upon Gen 4:26) of Sheth (God appointed replacement for Abel, from Shaeet – appointed Gen 4:25).

18:   And it happened that a possession of Edom (Esau), it happened that a possession of Seir (where Esau settled Gen 36:8 – southern border of Israel, Herod Antipater was from an Idumean family forcibly converted to Judaism by John Hyrcanus in late 2BC ?129BC Josephus Antiquities 14.1.3) (are) His enemies and making strength (for) Israel.

19: And dominating in Jacob and caused destruction (of) the city’s survivors”.

Amalek the last until destruction”.

21: And he sees the/time of Kini (acquirer, of Cain? amongst Amalekites to the south) and he lifts up his oracle and he says, “ Perennial dwelling place and established in a rock (is) your nest (kin).

22: For if Cain happens to burn until when Ashur (Assyria) takes you captive.”

23: And he lifts up his oracle and says, “Ayyo (Oyye), who lives when God is doing him.

24: And ships on hand from Kittim (Cyprus, overseas). And they humbled Ashur, and they humbled Evar (Cross-over, grandson of Shem, Jesus’ ancestor). And it/he was till destruction”.

25: And Bilam arises and walks and turns back to his place and Balak also walked his way.

Phew!

Prayer:

El Shaddai – you stopped Bilam. Naeum Word of God you stopped Paul. You devastated them, You filled them with the Spirit and we hear Your Words from an unlikely source! All the Cains of the world are destroyed by The Replacement of Abel and after whose descendants the world knows Yehoweh by name. Thank You Jesus that You brought us to Our Father.

PS Unlike Paul, Bilam does not turn to God. So, having given us a prophecy using all the right words, he walks away, not realizing the significance of his own words except for the immediate.
