Psalm 131: Focussed waiting needs humility and contentment

1: David’s (darling’s) song of Ascension:

Yehoweh, my heart was (would have) not lifted up.

And my eyes did /(would have not arisen)  not arise.

And I did /  (would have not walked) not walk in greatness and being accomplished for myself,

2: if I had not evened-out and silenced my soul as a satiated (child) upon his mother.

as (a) satiated (child) upon (is) my soul.

3: Israel wait upon Yehoweh (Yakal – wait as a sprinter at the start waits for the starting shot)

From now and forever.

Prayer: Yehoweh, as I humble myself and am content in the numerous blessings which have satiated me, may I be waiting for your command to start running the new race for which You have placed me. Amen.
