Pause!
Prayer: Compassionate and Merciful God, You lift away our futile, falling-short sin. We are fortunate that Your temper is fleeting. Just and True God, You jealously ensure our separate-ness, discipline our waywardness by letting us face our enemies, warn us off false covenants with them and You covenant with us. You demand 1:7 rest even from planning and receiving earnings. You celebrate face to face meetings with us at least thrice every year and thus protect our land from the covetous. You own us all but only lay claim to the first of our first fruit. You make us radiant if we meet You daily. Thank you Lord.
