1: In the time when The Word of Yehoweh is (Ehiyeh) God of all the families of God-Strife (Israel), and they are my people.
Pause and think about that!
2: Thus says Yehoweh, Grace was found in the wilderness. Sword-Survivor people going to be given a sudden break. God-Strife:
3: From far away, Yehoweh was seen for me. I loved you with everlasting love. And so I pulled you to loving kindness.
4: I build you again. Rebuilt (as) Maiden God-Strife. Deck up your tambourines again. You went out with joyous dance.
5: Again you plant vines on the mountains of the Watcher (Shomron) – planted, planting, pierced.
6: For there’s a day when the watchers cried on mountains of God-covered (Ephraim/believers), “Rise up and ascend to Drought-mountain (Zion), to Yehoweh our God.
Pause and think about that!
7: For thus says Yehoweh, Sing Joy to Hind-part (Jacob) and screech to the head of unbelieving nations, cause to hear Hallelu (noisy praise), and say,”Hoshea (Cause-to-Save) Yehoweh your people, the remnant of God-Strife (Israel)”.
8: Behold I cause them to be brought from the north and gather them from the recesses of the earth, them blind and lame, the pregnant and ones with child as one – a great congregation return there.
9: They come with weeping and supplications for Grace. I cause them to be borne and cause them to walk by waters of a river, in a way that isn’t straight and (so) there they are tripped-up. For I am a father to God-Strife (Israel), God-covered (Ephraim/believers) is my first-born.
Pause and think about that!
10: Hear God’s word, unbelieving nations,
Cause it to be emphasized on far off coasts, “He gathers scattered God-strife (Israel) and watched him like a shepherd his flock.
11: For Yehoweh ransomed the Hind-Part (Jacob) and redeemed him from the hand of one stronger than him.
12: And they came and sang on the heights of Drought-mountain (Zion). And Yehoweh’s goodness flowed – on grain and on fresh wine and on fresh oil and on the young (sons) of sheep and cattle. And it was that their souls were like a well watered garden. And fatigue was no longer caused to be added on anymore.
13: Then maidens rejoice in dance and the young men and old as one. For I overturned their mourning to joy and I comforted them, I gladdened their grief.
14: I satisfied the priests’ souls with fatness and filled my people full with goodness, with The Word of Yehoweh (Yshua).
Pause and think about that!
15: Thus says Yehoweh, a voice in High-Place (Ramah) is heard. – Lamentation and weeping and bitterness: Weeping Ewe (Rachel) for her Sons refused to be comforted for her sons because they are nothing.
Pause and think about that!
16: Thus says Yehoweh, “Stop your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears for there will be wages for your paid work. The Word of Yehoweh returned from enemy land.
17: And there is hope for your latter time. The Word of Yehoweh returned your sons to their territories.
Pause and think about that!
18: I hearing heard Covered-One (Ephraim/believers) pacing around (in grief). You chastised me and I am chastised – not like an untrained bull. Make me return. For, Yehoweh, you are my God.
19: For after my turning, I was consoled. After being made aware, I was ashamed and slapped my thigh. I was also humiliated because I carried the reproach of my early years.
20: Covered-one (Ephraim/believers), who is my dear Son**? If it is this Child, even though a delight, I spoke against Him!
(‘Bo’ is a preposition meaning ‘against’ following a noun. Ref: Gesenius 98:point 6 https://www.tyndalearchive.com/TABS/Gesenius/index.htm).
But I am remembering remember upon this still!
My insides churn for Him!
I have loving loving kindness (wombing womb) for Him – the Word of Yehoweh (Yshua).
Pause and think about that!
21: Cause signposts to stand.
Set posts in place.
Put your heart in the way – the highway (where) you walked.
Turn back maiden God-strife (Israel) to these your cities.
22: How long will you make yourself turn away, The apostate / backsliding daughter*.
For Yehoweh created The New thing on earth:
a woman* surrounds a man**!
23: Thus said Yehoweh of Parliaments, God of God-Strife, Say this word again in the land of God-Praise and to captivity in the turning-back cities, ‘Yehoweh bless you with a sheep abode of righteousness and a mountain of holiness’.
24: And there itself dwelt God-Praise (Judah) and all the cities as one. Plowmen setting out with flocks!
25: For I caused a weary soul to be saturated and I filled every languished soul.
26: After this I made myself awake and looked around. My sleep was sweet to me.
Pause and think about that!
27: Behold, in coming days, I, the Word of Yehoweh, sowed The house of God-Strife and The house of God-Praise with man’s seed and animal’s seed.
28: And it happened that as I had kept awake/watch over them to pluck and to pull down and to tear down and to cause to die and to cause evil, so I, the Word of Yehoweh, now am awake/watch over them to build and to plant.
29: In those days, say no more that fathers ate a sour grape and the children’s teeth are dull.
30: Because if a man dies for his sin, all mankind’s teeth who ate the sour grape are dull.
31: Behold in coming days, I, the Word of Yehoweh, cut a new with Covenant with The house of God-Strife and The house of God-Praise
32: – not like the covenant I cut with their fathers in a day when I caused their hand to be strengthened and caused them to come out of the lands of besiege / fortification (plural of Mathsor – Egypt) – The Covenant which they broke – and (when) I, the Word of Yehoweh, husbanded them!
33: So this, The covenant I cut with The house of God-Strife (Israel) after Those Days, is (when) I, the Word of Yehoweh, put The Instructions (Torah) inside them and I write it on their hearts. It came to pass that I was their God and they are my people.
34: And a man no longer teaches his friend and a man his brother to say, ‘Know The Yehoweh’. For all know of Me, The Word of Yehoweh (Yshua), from the youngest of them to the greatest. For I forgive their sin and their wrongdoing I remember no more.
Pause and think about that!
35: Thus says Yehoweh who gives sun for day light and a prescription of Moon and stars for night light, stirs the sea and moves its waves, Yehoweh of Parliaments is His Name.
36: “If these prescriptions depart from before my (The Word of Yehoweh’s) face, then the seed of God-Strife will rest (Sabbath) from being a nation (Goy) before my face for forever.
Pause and think about that!
37: Thus says Yehoweh, If heavens above are measured and earth’s foundations below are searched, then I, the Word of Yehoweh, reject the seed of God-Strife and all that they have done.
Pause and think about that!
38: Behold, in coming days, The city built by the Word of Yehoweh for Yehoweh from God-is-gracious (Chanan-el) Tower to The Corner (Ha-Pinna) Gate is
39: extended forward by a line of measurement in front of Scrabby (Gareb) hill and surrounded by Lowing (Goatha).
40: And all the valley of carcasses till the fields of the Dark (Kidron) brook, till the corner of Horses’ Gate from the place of sunrise is holy to Yehoweh, not to be plucked, not to be torn down any more and forever.
Pause and think about that!
(Italics are my comments)
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, on one hand you plucked and tore out your people but now they are no longer and forever not to be plucked or torn down. But Grace was found in the wilderness. We see the Father and You working together, speaking to us as one, indistinguishable, and at the same time Father, we cry as we remember You had Your insides churned as You spoke against Your Dear Son. And You created this new thing so that the Bride could surround Him. O, what Love has the Father for the Son and for us.
And Lord Jesus, husbanding Israel in the Old covenant, we hear Your pain when it was broken by Loved people who ended up destroyed. On what Love does Jesus have for His people of old and then His first born, us Ephraim-believers. And to Israel Your new covenant is written on their hearts with the sun, moon and stars as witness. All men sinned but You forgave. And You built an extension to Your Father’s city! (I go to prepare a place for you Jn 14:2). We surround You!
Thank You Yehoweh. Thank You Word of Yehoweh.
Amen.
