1: And I saw the Lord stationed by the altar and He said
Cause the knobs of the posts to be struck and the cup rims/thresholds quake and break them on a head of them all.
And I slay the last of them with a sword (flitting, fleeting, self harming, calf worshipping and ritual following folk outlined in Amos 8:14) .
A flee-er does not flee from them.
An escaper is not delivered from them.
2: If they dig into Sheol, My Hand takes them from there.
And if they ascend into the heavens, I will cause them to be brought down from there.
3: And if they are hidden on top of The Carmel (vineyard), I will search our and they were taken from there.
And if they are secreted away from in front of my eyes in the bottom of the sea, I command The serpent (Nagash) and he bit them from there.
4: And if they walk into captivity in the face of their enemies, I command The Sword and she slays them from there.
And I set up/ordain My Eyes upon them for evil/Trouble and not for good.
5: And The Lord Yehoweh of Parliaments, The One who intimately touches the land and she melts.
And all dwellers there grieve.
Like a Nile/river (Ore) had swelled and and abated (shka שׁקע ) – like a Nile/river of Egypt.
6: The Builder of the layered / steps of the heavens and land was established on His strata.(Is this the new heaven on new earth model?)
The Crier to sea water gushes it out on the face of the earth (vs v5 a river in spate which destroys and abates).
His Name is Yehoweh.
7: Are you not like the sons of Ethiopians to me, sons of Israel?
Did not Word Yehoweh cause Israel to ascend to Me from the land of Egypt?
And the Philistines from Kafthor (?Crete)?
And Aram (Syria) from Kir (?Kerak in Jordan)?
8: Behold, the eyes of Lord Yehoweh are on the missing-the-mark-sin (katha) kingdom.
I caused it to be destroyed from the face of the soil.
For I, Word Yehoweh, however, do not destroyingly destroy the house of Jacob.
9: For behold, Command-er – I. And I caused the house of Israel to be shaken over the unbelieving nations as like it is shaken from a sieve and not a bag falls on land (they are individually spread – not spread out in groups).
10: They die by a sword, My missing-the-mark-sin people, those who say troublesome-evil is not caused to touch us or caused to confront us.
11: In that Day, I cause to resurrect The Tent (Sukkoth) of David, which had fallen/died.
And I will close up her breaches.
And I cause to resurrect its ruins.
And I built her as in ancient/ forgotten days
12: in order that they inherit the remnant of Edom ( Esau’s, southeast dead sea, those who gave inheritance for earthly pleasures).
And all unbelieving nations who were called by My Name, upon Word Yehoweh, He does this. Phew!
13: Behold! Traversing are Word Yehoweh’s Days.
And a fabricator (engraver) approaches/touches a harvester, and a path treader of grapes to a sower of the seed (? Machines in harvest).
And the mountains were caused to drip with fresh wine (asees).
And all the hills make themselves melt themselves (vs Amos 8:13 youth making themselves thirsty) .
14: And I had turned back (shavthi) to My people, the captive (shavooth) Israel.
And they had built appalling/amazing cities and had inhabited them.
And they had planted vineyards and had drunk their wines.
And they had done gardens and had ate their fruits.
15: And I had planted them in their soil and they are not uprooted again from their soil which I gave them said Yehoweh, your God.
Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus for Your Days. Despite the destruction of the old altar prominences and the kingdom of sin (but not its people), thank you that we and Edom (those who gave up their inheritance for earthly pleasures) are inherited by Your Tent of resurrection which had died. You built it for Israelis and all unbelieving but now Christian nations including Ethiopian, Palestinian and Syrian christians. For all nations called by Your Name, the second grape harvest of wrath has turned to sweet wine in industrial volumes! Hallelujah!
