1: These are the decrees and the judgements which you watch over to do in occupied land (f) which Yehoweh, God of your fathers, gave you for all the days that you have life on the soil(f).
2: Destroying destroy all the places (m) where unbelieving nations served – there (m), where you, you destroyers of their gods on their high mountains and hills and under every luxuriant tree.
3: You had flattened their memorials and you burnt their creative images with fire.
And you break their reverential statues into pieces and their (famous) names are eliminated from that place.
4: You are not to do this for Yehoweh your God.
5: For if there is a place(m) which Yehoweh your God chooses for all the tribes to establish His Name there for His dwelling, you find it (m) and come there (f).
6: And you cause to traverse there(f), your burnt offerings, your slaughter-sacrifices and from your tenths, your gifts from your hands and your vows, and your spontaneous free-will volunteering, and the firstborn of your herd and flock.
7: And you ate there(m) in Yehoweh your God’s face. And you cheered up there in all the export of your hand, you and your houses, which Yehoweh your God had you blessed (with).
8: Don’t do like all which we are doing here on the day, every man straight in his own eyes.
9: For you have not as yet traversed the rest and the inheritance which Yehoweh your God is giving to you.
10: And when you had crossed over the Jordan (Descender) in the land which Yehoweh your God is causing you to inherit and had caused rest for you from all your surrounding enemies and caused you to permanently reside in safety.
11: And there happened the place where Yehoweh your God chooses to dwell in – His Name is there. There (f) you cause to traverse all that I commanded you, your burnt offerings, your slaughter-sacrifices and from your tenths, your gifts from your hands and all your best vows which you vow to Yehoweh.
12: And you rejoiced in Yehoweh’s Face, you, your sons, your daughters, your servants, your Ammahs (maids) and the Levites who is at your gates (for he has no allotment or inheritance with you).
13: Be watched (make yourself accountable) to you that you cause to raise up your burnt offering in every place which you see.
14: So if a place in which Yehoweh chooses is there in one tribe’s (place), raise up your burnt offering. And there you shall do all which I command you.
15: However, in each meat of your soul’s desire you sacrifice and eat like Yehoweh your God’s blessing which He had given to you in each of your gates, he eats the impure and the pure, like gazelle and like deer.
16: Only don’t eat the blood. Shed it over the earth like water. (Acts 15:29)
17: Don’t eating eat of the tenth of your grain and your fresh wine and your anointing oil and the firstborn of your herd and flock and the vows you vow, and your freewill offering and the gifts of your hands within your gates.
18: For you eat them before Yehoweh your God’s face in the place which Yehoweh your God chooses – you, your sons, your daughters, your servants, your Ammahs (maids) and the Levites who is at your gates.
And you rejoiced in Yehoweh your God’s face – in each presentation of your hand.
19: Be watched (make yourself accountable) to you that you let off the Levite on the days on your soil (field).
Pause and think about that!
20: When Yehoweh your God extends your boundary as He had spoken to you, (addition of the Gentiles), and you said, “ I eat meat”. If your soul desires to eat meat, You eat all the meat your soul desires.
21: If the place where Yehoweh your God chooses to establish His Name is too far, and you sacrificed of your herd and of your flock which Yehoweh gave you, as I commanded you, you eat within your gates to all your soul’s desire.
22: Indeed, just as the gazelle and the deer are eaten, so eat them – the unclean and the clean – they eat them as one. (Peter’s dream for Cornelius Acts 10:1-48)
23: But emphatically eat except the blood.
For the blood is the soul. And you don’t eat the soul with the meat.
24: Don’t eat it. Shed it over the earth like water.
25: Don’t eat it so that it is good
for you and for your children after you
– if you do what is straight in Yehoweh’s eyes.
26: Only go up with your separated/holy which you have and take your vows in the place where Yehoweh you God chooses.
27: And make the meat and the blood of your burnt offerings on the altar of Yehoweh your God. And let the blood of your sacrifice be poured out on the altar of Yehoweh your God and you eat the meat.
28: Watch watchingly over all these words which I have commanded you
in order that it goes well with you and your children after you for ever
if what you do is the good and the straight in Yehoweh your God’s eyes.
Pause and think about that!
29: If Yehoweh your God covenant-cuts the unbelieving nations where you traverse – to disposess them in your face and occupy them and dwell in their land
30: Be watched (make yourself accountable) to you that you are not ensnared after them after they are destroyed in from of you and that you seek after their gods to say “ How did these nations serve their gods ? So I also will make that. “
31: Then don’t make for every abomination to Yehoweh your God which He hated.
For even their sons they made and their daughters they burnt in a fire to their gods.
32: For every Word which I commanded to you, you watch and you do.
Do not cause to be added to it.
And do not deduct from it. (Rev 22:18).
Phew!
Prayer:
Your prophetic Instruction Manual! From the start, Your Plan was always that gentile would join jew in Your Family. Lord you gave us the flexible principles of Your Instructions on eating when that would happen. Forgive us that we, like Peter, only saw rigidity and used that rigidity to build a fence. Meanwhile You were extending our boundary!. May we be accountable to ourselves to keep Your Portion of what we eat as a holy communion in Your Place but may we eat meat to our soul’s desire in our homes always remembering to say, Thank YOU Yehoweh our God.
PS Blood is the soul
PPS no adding or subtraction g from The Word – every jot and tittle counts.
