1: Yehoweh, my Light and my Jesus – whom do I fear?
Yehoweh, my life’s stronghold – what do I dread?
2: From those making evil approaching me?
From the flesh-gobbling enemies who are being hostile to me?
Them? They stumbled and fell!
3: Though an encampment encamps around me, My heart does not fear.
Though a war arises over me,
in this I am confident,
4: the one thing I begged of Yehoweh
that very thing I demanded:
To dwell in the house of Yehoweh,
To behold thebeauty of Yehoweh all of the days of my life,
And To do research in His palace.
5: For He hides me in His Sukkoth (hut, covering, pavilion, tabernacle) on a troublesome-evil day.
He causes me to be hid in a secret tent on Rock – He lifts me up.
6: And thus He raises my head above my surrounding enemies
And in His Tent I sacrifice – sacrifices of Thruah (trumpets and shouts of joy).
I sing and I make (instrumental) music to Yehoweh:
7: Hear Yehoweh – my voice cries out –
And have mercy on me Vey chanaeni
And answer me Vey anaeyni
8: My heart said to you
My face desirously seeks Your face
9: Don’t make your face to hide from me.
Don’t turn away in a temper (nostril) from your servant.
You have been my help.
Dont you leave me
Dont you forsake me
My God, My Jesus.
10: When my father and my mother departed from me
And Yehoweh gathers me up to take me away.
11: Yehoweh, cause me to aim towards Your Way –
because there are my treacherous onlookers –
guide me to an upright (level) path.
12: Don’t give me to narrow minded souls when they stood up as false witnesses against me and breathers of violence.
13: Will I not have confirmed (made Amen-ed) to see the goodness of God in the land of the living?
14: Wait on Yehoweh
Be courageous – He strengthens your heart.
And wait on Yehoweh.
Prayer:
This land of the dying is not mine! When I demanded to be with You and You promised to take me way to the Secret Place, to Jesus The Rock, to The Sukkoth, as you did our fathers and mothers, You did so through the sacrifice of Thruah – trumpetting Joy – Your upcoming autumn festivals of Trumpets and Sukkoth remind me to wait in good cheer for Your Goodness. Even if body and soul hasn’t died yet, my spirit – my voice, my face, my heart – is raptured in the land of the living already!

- Jer 29:11 tikvah (hope) is based on Kaveh (wait)
- This Psalm’s Chiastic pattern becomes clear when written in a circle
