Genesis 2: Creation genealogy: Rest, work, Leaving and Cleaved to our counterpart helper.

And the heavens and the earth, they are completing and all their institution(tsaba).

And God completed his production which He had done on the seventh day. And He rests on the seventh day from all production which He had done.

And God blesses the seventh day and makes it holy for in it He had rested from all productions which God had created to make.  Phew!

This is the genealogy of the heavens and the earth when they were created:

In a day Yehoweh God makes earth and heavens.

And all shrub of the fields before are in the earth and all greenery of the fields before has not sprung for Yehoweh God had not caused it to rain on the earth and tnere was no man to slave/serve  the ground.

And a mist rose up from the earth and caused to water the surface of all the ground.

And Yehoweh God fashions The man from the dust of the ground and blows into his nostrils the breath of life (spirit – nishma) and the man becomes a living soul (nafesh).

And Yehoweh God plants a garden in Eden in the east and He appointed the man whom He had formed there.

And Yehoweh God causes every delighting-to-look-at tree from the ground to grow – and good for food.

And a river goes out from Eden to cause to water the garden and from ghere it is separated and it became 4 heads:

The first name is Pishon – it is the surrounding of the whole land of the Havilah where there is the gold.

And the gold of that land is good – and the bdella (gum/resin, colour of manna Num 11:7) and the stone gem.

And the name of tbe second river is Gihon – it is the surrounding of the whole land of Cush (Egypt).

And the name of the third river is Kidekel (Tigris) – it is the running on the east of Ashur (Assyria). And the fourth river is Ferath (euphrates).

And Yehoweh God took the man and laid him down in the garden of Eden to serve/slave and to watch.

And Yehoweh God commands the man to say of every tree in the garden eating-eat (imperf).

And of the tree of the knowledge of good and trouble don’t eat. For from the day you eat of it, you dying- die (imperf).

And Yehoweh God says it is not becoming the man to be alone. I make (imperf) him a counterpart helper.

And Yehoweh God  moulds out of the ground every living being of the field, every bird of the heavens and causes to brings them to the man to see what he calls them. And whatever the man calls them, that was the living soul’s name.

And the man calls the names of every animal and bird of the heavens and living being of the field but to man no counterpart helper was found.

And Yehoweh God made the man lie down in a deep sleep. And he sleeps  long. And He takes out one side from (him) and closes the flesh over it.

And Yehoweh God builds from the side which he has taken out of the man (Adam)for a woman and He causes her to be brought to the man (Adam).

And the man says, “This is the time! Bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh, this one is called Isha (a woman) for this one was taken out of Ish (a man).”

And so a man (ish)  leaves his father and his mother and clung to his woman and they became one flesh.

And it happens that the naked two – the man (Adam) and his woman did not make themselves shame themselves.

Prayer: Lord your creation is still not complete, your rest is still not complete. We are a work in progress, together with counterpart helpers whom You made from a side of us. O God our help in ages past, Thank you for giving us a helper on earth too who is of our flesh. Amen.
