Psalm 27: Jesus my Light, teaches me to become strong and courageous.

1: For Darling (David):

Yehoweh My Light and my Saviour/Jesus (Y’shi)!

From whom fear I?

Yehoweh my life’s strength!

From whom dread I?

2: When trouble makers approach over me to eat my flesh,

my afflictors and my haters,

they had staggered and

they had fallen.

3: If she, a company, encamps over me,

My heart, he does not fear.

If she, a conflict, rises up over me,

Through it I, I am trusting.

4: One thing I had asked Yehoweh, for it I search:

To settle in Yehoweh’s house for all days of my life,

To contemplate Yehoweh’s delightfulness

And to research in His temple.

5: For He hides me away in His gazebo (Sukkoth).

He conceals me on a day of trouble in secret in His Tent (Ohel – Tabernacle).

In a rock He lifts me up /away

6: and my head is above my encircling haters.

And I slaughter a sacrifice of Teruah (joyous trumpet blast) in His Tent (Ohel – Tabernacle).

And I sing and I make music to Yehoweh.

7: Hear my voice, Yehoweh! I cry out!

And have mercy on me! (Vey Kaneni)

And reply me! (Vey Aneyni).

8: For you my heart had said, “Seek!”

I seek – my face (is) in Your Face!

9: Don’t cause your face to be hidden from me.

Don’t turn it away in a temper from your servant.

You were my help.

Don’t abandon me.

Don’t break up (covenantly) with me.

My God, my Jesus (Yesh yi).

10: When my father and my mother broke up (covenantly) with me and Yehoweh gathers (collects) me.

11: Cause me to be taught Your Ways, Yehoweh.

Guide me in your level (mishore – making rough places plain Is 40:4) paths in order that an obstinate

12 does not give me to a soul (of a) afflictor.

For false witnesses rose against me with exhaling violence (Hamas)

13: if I had not caused confirmation (amen) to look into Yehoweh’s goodness in a land of life.

14: Wait for Yehoweh.

En-Courage and make strong your heart.

And wait for Yehoweh.

Prayer:

Lord I wait for You in the courage and strength that You have guided me and taught me to have. I am lifted away to Your Sukkoth-tent. And with a Teruah trumpet blast, You made my rough places plain, my afflictors staggered and fell, I was lifted up above them and to Your Ohel-Tabernacle – so close to You that my face is next to Yours! My saying Amen leads me to Your Land of Life.
