Zechariah 11: Woe to You, weak and blind pastors –  grammarians and separatists (Matt 23), Puritans and Presbyters (Luke 20, Mark 11,12) says Jesus referencing Zechariah (Matt 23:35)

1: Open swing-doors, Lebanon and your cedars eat fire.

2: Cause to wail, you firs, for the cedars fell, which were majestic were despoiled.

Cause to wail, all you oaks of Bashan, for protected forests went down.

3: The sound of the pasturers’ Yells for their despoiled majesty.

A sound of young lions’ Roars for the pride of Jordan  was despoiled.

Think about that!

4: Thus says Yehoweh, my God, Pasture (Ra’ah) the flock for slaughter

5: whose acquirers slaughter and are not guilty and who sell  them and say, Blessed be Yehoweh and cause increase.

And pasturers do not spare them.

6: For  I will not spare the inhabiters of the land any longer.

And behold, The Word of Yehoweh,

I, cause it to be handed

to a man of The Adam (Adam’s race),  to (the) hand of his neighbour (Re’u), to (the)  hand of his king.

And they hammer The Land and I will not cause (it) to be snatched from their hands.

7: So I pasture the flock for the slaughter for so I take the poor flock for myself.

Two staffs – one I called Noam (Beauty), one I called Kobelim (ropes),

And I feed the flock.

8: And I cause to hide the three pasturers in one month

And my soul reaps them

And their souls loathe to me.

9: and I say I will not pasture you

Let what is dying die

Let what is being concealed, remain concealed

And what women are remaining eat her mate’s (also Ra’ah!) flesh.

10: And I take my staff – Beauty – and break it.

This makes it void the covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

11: And is voided on that day

And so the poor flock who are keeping watch on Me know that this is the word of Yehoweh.

12: And I say to them, “If it is good to you, give me my wage. If not, cease.”

And they weigh out my wage – 30 silver.

13: And Yehoweh says to me, cause to fling it at the one who designs a costed magnificence/robe – on them who set the cost on me.

And I take the 30 silver and cause it to fling at them – the one who makes designs on a house of Yehoweh.

14: And I break my second staff – the

Kobelim (ropes) to void the brotherhood between Judah and between Israel. (Matt 23:8 You are all brothers)

Pause and think about that!

15: And Yehoweh says to me again, “Take for yourself tools of a foolish pasturer. For behold I make a pasturer arise in the land, one who is hidden, who cares not for the young, who does not seek out the shattered, who does not heal the one who is stood up and feed (them).

But he eats the flesh of the fat (sheep) and tears their hooves.

Pause and think about that!

17: Woe, the worthless pasturer who abandons the flock.

A sword to his arm (strength) and to his right eye!

His arm withering withers.

His right eye dimmingly dims.

Pause and think about that!

Prayer: O Lord, may we call no man Father but God. May we call no man Teacher or Pastor but Christ who was our beauty broken and after whom no covenant sacrifice was needed. And the boundary ropes were broken too that we – Jew and Gentile – may all be brothers (Adelphi – from the same womb) and our leaders be Servants (Deacons Matt 23:8-12) so that they (and we) are not despoiled by the sword which withers arms and dims right eyes. Amen.
