1: And I turn back and raise my eyes and see. And Behold 4 emerging chariots between 2 mountains – and the mountains – bronze mountains.
2: With the first chariot, red (from blood) horses
And with the second chariot, dark (from shakar- early dawn) horses
3: And with the third chariot, white (from purifying, making bricks) horses
And with the fourth chariot, strongly spotted (from varad – hail + strong and courageous) horses.
4: And I answer and say to The Messenger who talks with me, “ What are these, Adoni (my Lord)?”
5: And answers The Messenger and says to me, “These are The Heavens 4 emerging spirits making themselves take their positions before The Lord of all the earth
6: with whom the black horses are emerging towards north (hidden treasure – Tsafon) earth
and the white emerged towards after them.
And the spotted horses emerged towards the south (right hand – Yamin) earth.
7: And the strong/courageous emerged and seek to walk – to make themselves to walk in the earth.
And they make themselves walk in the earth.”
8: And He makes a call to me and exclaims to me saying, “Look! The ones emerging to the north earth are making My Spirit rest (After activity – Noak – like the ark came to rest) in north earth.
Pause and think.
9: And it is that Yehoweh’s Word to me is saying
10: to take from the exiles, from Worldly Weasel (Kheldai) and from God-is-good (Toviah) and God-knows (Yediyah).
And on that day you went. And you went to God-is-a-Buttress (Josiah’s) house, God-treasures (Tsaphon (North)-Yah – Zephaniah’s) son* who came from Babel (mixed-up place).
11: And you took silver and gold and made a crown and established it on God-caused-to-save (Joshua’s) head, son of Righteous-God (Yehoweh-Tsedeq – Jehozadak), the Priest, the Great.
12: And you told Him to say, “Thus said Yehoweh of Parliaments”.
To say, “Behold a man whose name is ‘Sprout’ (Tsemah). And from below (where Abraham put the ram – thakhat – under Isaac Gen 22:13), He sprouts (Yitsmah) and built The Temple of Yehoweh.
13: And He builds the Temple of Yehoweh. And He lifts up Glory.
And He sat and reigned on His throne.
And He was a Priest on His throne!
And it happens that an Advice (of) Peace, is between the two of them.
14: And The Crown is
for Strength (Khelem)
and for God’s-Good (Toviah)
and for God’s-Knowledge (YadaiYah)
and for Favour (Khen), God-treasures (Tsaphon (North)-Yah – Zephaniah’s) son*
For a memorial in Yehoweh’s temple.
15: And those from afar come and built in Yehoweh’s temple.
And you knew that Yehoweh of Parliaments sent me to you”.
And if on hearing (Shema) this, you hear (Shema), it was that it was in your God, Yehoweh’s Voice.

Prayer: O Lord, may the spirits of trade and economy be brought to Your throne of Grace from the northern and southern hemispheres and the riderless spirits be reined in from all their diverse origins and all their silver and gold used to make a crown for Your Kingly High Priest.
Your Temple is built around our Kingly High Priest on His throne, Son of our God of Parliaments sent to us. He sprouts from earth, His crown is made of our gold. We hear Him speaking in Your Voice.

A review of the 4 Rukoth spirit winds:
The 4 wind / spirits (Rukoth – pl of Ruach) from the ends of the earth continue to intrigue me as I first heard of them in Zechariah 6 as riderless chariots with red (blood), white (pure and systematic), black (dawn-risers) and dappled (strong and courageous) horses. The white and black go north, dappled go south and no mention of what happens to the red. But their presence is mentioned with the Hayah verb – I am – and oseh (who) in some references and sometimes Rukoth appears so disjointedly that translations call it ‘sides’!!
- In 1 Chron 9:24 they are assigned gates in the 4 directions and their brothers come – the Levites – were gates in the tabernacle (hayah)
- In Psalm 104:4, they are His messengers who serve to flame a fire (oseh).
- In Proverbs 16:2, they are a measure of man (YHWH).
- In Jeremiah 49:36, they come from the 4 ends of the skies to disperse men (Yehiyeh).
- In Ezekiel 37:9, they come to breathe spirit into the army of bones (YHWH).
- In Ezekiel 42:20, they are measured as 4 walls separating the inner holy from the common just after and before Ezekiel comes out (42:15) and goes back to (43:1) the east gate of the temple from where the Voice of God came and the Glory of God shines (43:2).
- In Daniel 8:8, the goat’s horn which broke after butting the ram, grows back as 4 notable horns towards the 4 spirit winds of heaven.
- In Daniel 11:4, the post Persian mighty king’s broken up kingdom goes to the 4 spirit winds of heaven.
.. And the last 2 mentions are in Zech 6 where they are 4 riderless chariots and horses. This is just after the money and metal gold standard section in the previous chapter. So if these winds were trade winds, it might have been ships, not chariots. Economic language is replete with spirits and winds and so these are probably the spirits of land trade routes going north and south.
Thus dawn and pure spirits go north and the northern spirits cause God’s Spirit to rest. This could refer to economic standards bringing up the living standards of those communities accepting Jesus (dawn and purifying spirits).
The spirit going south is brave and courageous but is not mentioned as bringing rest to God’s spirit. Its absence of mentioned effect is represented in a relative lack of economic activity in the southern hemisphere.
And the puzzle of the blood spirit which is not described as going anywhere – maybe the spirit of all that is evil in trade is pervasive like slave trade, market economy greed, socialist economy disempowerment?
Interestingly if the purpose of the spirits is to delineate the boundary and be gateways between the holy and common, it introduces a very different view to economy and trade. And their power is used for deeply spiritual purposes – to bring the Ezekiel bones back together into an army.
