Hosea 13: What happens when Ephraim, the christian, worships silver calves

1: When panicky Covered-one (Ephraim, christian) speaks, he lifts himself up in Israel and in offending a lord, he died.

2: And now, they  caused sin to increase (Joseph).

They made molten images with silver for themselves as they discerned (best). All of it idols of engravers’  work. They are saying, may humans kiss the sacrificed calves.

3: Therefore they will be like the morning cloud and the night dew which rises up early and walks away, like the chaff blown tempestuouly away from the threshing floor and like smoke from a grate window.

4: And I, I am Your God Yehoweh from the land of Egypt. You may know None save Me. There is no one causing you to be saved (Moshiah – sending Yshua) but me.

5: I knew you from the wilderness in the land of fiery-drought.

6: When their satiating pasturage was satiated and exalted, and upon which their hearts forgot me.

7: So it will be to them like a fierce lion, a leopard stealthily tracking on a road

8: I will meet them like a bear deprived of its cubs, I will tear their heart covering (pericardium/chest) and eat them like a lioness and diced by living beings of the field (piecemeal).

 

9: You were destroyed God-Strife (Israel) but your help is from Me.

10: Will I then be your king? And cause (send) Ysha (saving) in all your cities when your judging said ‘Give me a king and princes’?

11: In a flash of anger, I give you a king.

And in my fury, I take him away.

Ponder that!

 

12: Indictment-entangled Covered-one(Ephraim, christian) hoards up his sin.

13:The travails of labour (child bearing) come upon him. His son is wisely is not taking a stand for long in the labour room.

14: From the underworld’s hand of death, I ransom them. Will I redeem them from your deathly plagues? Will pity for your underworld destruction be hidden from my eyes?

15: if he is fruitful apart from his brothers, from the east, Yehoweh’s spirit comes.  From the wilderness He ascends. His spring was shamed as his fountain dried up. He plunders the storehouses of every delightful vessel.

 

16: The Watcher (Samaria) is guilty. She rebelled against her God. They fell by the sword. Their children are being dashed to pieces. Their pregnant ones bing ripped open. That’s it!

Prayer: Lord, whatever happens, may I never bow down to any image. May I always and only worship and bow down to You alone. Amen.
