1: And it happens that the Word of Yehoweh came to me, saying,
2: Set your face to Gog (northern tribe) in the land in Gog (Ha m’Gog), Prince of Red/Head (Ros), Dragger (meshak) and Answered (Thubel) and let prophesy be made over him.
3: And you say, “Thus says Lord Yehoweh: Behold I am to you Gog, Prince of Ros, Meshak and Thubel.
4: I spun you around (shoov) and given you hooks in your cheeks and I caused you to go out, and all your army, horses, steeds, all clothed in perfection, a great assembly (? United Nations) with barbs, shields, sword handlers all.
5: Parash, Cush and Footh they are. All of them with shield and helmet,
6: Completer (Gomer) and all his gangs, Sorrow (Togarmah)-House – all gangs (?Hezbollah etc ) from the remote North and all the great many people with you.
7: You Firmed up and made firmed up (H’kon v’haken) and all your assemblies were assembled about you and were watched by them.
8: After a great many days you are appointed.
In the latter years you come to the land –
to those brought back (shoov),
to the sword,
to those gathered back
to the great many peoples in the mountains of Israel which were continually ruined and
to where they were caused to be brought out from the peoples and all dwelt secure.
9: You ascended (aliyah) like a ravaging storm, coming like a cloud covering the land.
It is you and all your gang, and the great many peoples with you.
Ponder that!
10: Thus says Lord Yehoweh, “It was on that day that words arise in your heart, you think evil thoughts.
11: And you said, ‘I ascended (aliyah) on a land of hamlets (rural), went to quiet dwellers.
All of them are securely dwelling with not a wall and bars and no doors for them.
12: to Plunder plunder, to Spoil spoil (Lishlol shala, v’laboz baz).
To cause your hand to return (shoov)
against ruined inhabitations,
against people from gathered unbelieving nations
who do cattle and acquisitions who dwell in the land’s centre (?capital).
13: Sheva and Dedan (eastern tribes) and travellers from Tarshish (Mediterranean sea peoples??) and all their young lions say to you,
Are you to plunder plunder? Have you come to spoil spoil?
Cause the Assembling of your assemblies to carry away silver and gold,
to take cattle and acquisitions
to plunder great plunder.
Ponder that!
14: So then prophesied (?hinnaveya conjugation nifal imp) Son of Man said to Gog, “Thus says Lord Yehoweh:
Will you not know on a day when my people Israel dwell safely?
15: And you came from your remote northern places, you and great many peoples with you, riding on horses.
All of them are a great assembly.
A great and mighty army.
16: And you come up against my people Israel like a cloud covering the land.
It is in the latter days that I will cause you to come against my land so that the unbelieving nations may know Me. Before their eyes, I am being made holy in you, Gog.
Ponder that!
17: Thus says Lord Yehoweh, Are you he of whom I spoke in the former days, prophesied by my servant prophets of Israel in those days (for) the years that I caused you to be brought against them.
Ponder that! (Spiritual significance as explained by the Son of Man .. )
18: It happened in a day – in a day that Gog comes on the inhabited territory of Israel.
This is Lord Yehoweh’s Word:
My fury and temper (nostril) will ascend (aliyah).
19: In my zeal, in the fire of my wrath, I spoke.
If not, on that day there will be a great shaking in the inhabited territory of Israel.
20: Fish of the sea will shake in front of my face,
and the birds of the heavens,
the living beasts of the field
and all the creepy crawlers of the inhabited territories
and all the mankind who are on the face of the inhabited territory.
And the mountains were thrown down,
and the steep cliffs fell
and every wall fell to the earth.
21: And I called all the mountains against Gog.
The Lord Yehoweh’s Word is a sword.
A sword (which) is of a man against his brother.
22: He is judged with pestilence and blood and overflowing rain and hailstones.
Fire and brimstone I will rain down on him and on his gangs, and on the great many people who are with him. (Btw Armies and assemblies aren’t mentioned here)
23: Then I will cause myself to be made great and cause myself to be made holy.
I will be known in the eyes of the great many unbelieving nations.
And they shall know that I am Yehoweh.
Ponder that!
Prayer: O Lord I see the UN assembly, armies, Hezbollah and Hamas gangs and masses of people up in arms against each other, in hatred and violence. And I find a political expectation of action from the church. But to both unbelieving sides, Yshua says that You are showing that You are Yehoweh God. We bow down in worship and awe.
