They mourned because its glory upon it has been removed from it.
6: Also (there it goes) – to Ashur it has been made to be carried off as a tribute for ‘the Contender’ (Yareb) king

( I couldn’t understand this section till I read v8 and remembered Luke 8:30, read v3 and remembered Jn 19:15. These cross references help to uncode the context – the first bit of this chapter is about the time at or after Pilate and Herod’s interrogation or the contemporary rejection of either the PM or the Supreme Court in Israel and the second bit is about end time events with some direct references also to contemporary events including 7 Oct 2023 which happened on the last day of Sukkot (Tabernacling v8), a Sabbath dawn and the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur war)

Lord unite our hearts and may we enthrone You, our King and banish the golden calf from our midst so that we may not be tricked into a false peace of human making which will lead to our demise from the very hands with whom we make this false peace.
In these last days. May we sow righteousness (instead of wickedness) and harvest your Mercy (instead of lies) . May our nations, Israel and the Church repent and turn back to you that we will not have internal dissent and despoiled communities and that our leaders will not be silenced at dawn. May the church and Israel learn the lessons of the last day of Sukkot and turn back to You. Amen.
