1: For the sake of a Zion (barren place) I am not being inactive
And for Jerusalem’s (place from where peace shoots out) sake, I will not be quietly undisturbed,
Till her righteousness is like (bright) light
And her Jesus is like a torch that is burning
2: and Goyim (including non Jews) saw your righteousness
And all kings your glory and cried out a new name which Yehovah is exclaiming.
3: and you were a beautified crown in Yehovah’s hand, a royal turban in your God’s palm.
4: No longer are you being called Azuba (Forsaken)
And in your land, no more being called Shemamah (Desolate)
But you are being exclaimed Cheftsi-bah (Delighted in her)
And in your land Beuhu-lah (Married is she / lorded is she – ba’al)
For Yehova Chafetses (delights) in you
And you are Baelled (married to / lorded over by) your land.
5: For as an eligible bachelor marries a maiden, your sons יִבְעָל֖וּךְ (If Qal Imp 3mp | 2fs the your sons marry you but if Yiqtol Pual 3ms your sons have you married ??) are having you married
And as a bridegroom rejoices over a bride, so rejoices your God over you.
6: On your walls, O Jerusalem (place from which peace shoots out), I have rostered watchmen all day and all night continually.
They will never stop being still, the(se) Reminders of Yehovah who won’t let Him rest.
7: And they will not be giving Him rest till He firms-up and till He sets up Jerusalem’s songs of praise for the lands.
8: By His right hand and by His shoulder was Yehovah sworn (to say),
“Will I give your grain to your enemies to eat any longer,
and will the sons of foreigners drink the freshly made wine which you laboured to make?
9: But your bonuses you shall eat and give praise to Yehvah
and your earnings you shall drink in my holy courts.
10: Cross over, Cross over, through the gates,
Turn the people to a road
Build up, build up The highway
Stone the stone
Make the banner rise for the peoples.”
11: Behold, Yehovah has made (this) heard to the end of the land,
Say to the daughter of Zion (barren place), “Behold your rescue (Yishek – your Jesus) comes.
Behold, his wage is with him and his work is before His face (paid in advance).
12: And they called them ‘The Yehovah Redeemed Holy People’. They were called ‘Sought after city’ – not Azubah (Forsaken). Think about that!
PS The way to pronounce YHWH is the sound of your breathing in your nostrils – nasal not laryngeal – which is why it can’t be ‘pronounced’ – the closest sound it makes when you inspire is ‘YH’ and expire ‘VH’. Every breath we take, calls out His Name! Even when you’re asleep!
